HyperTransport Consortium Compatibility Program FAQs
1 - What is the cost of participation in the
Compatibility Program?
The Program is open to all HyperTransport Consortium members
at no additional cost.
2 - Do I need to submit my HyperTransport product to the
Compatibilty Program?
The Compatibility Program is a self-tested and
self-adjudicated Program. There is no requirement of
participation in the Program for HyperTransport products.
3 - What technical documents are available for the
Compatibility Program?
The following technical documents are available on the
HyperTransport Consortium's Members' Only website:
a. Protocol Check List
b. Full and Quick Look Electrical Check Lists
c. HyperTransport Design Guide
d. Device Under Test Connector and Test Environment
e. HyperTransport Probe Connector
4 - How do I get my HyperTransport device on the
Compatibility Program's Participant website?
Your company should run through the Protocol and Quick Look
Electrical Check Lists with your product. The HyperTransport
Consortium recommends the Full Look Electrical Check List for
thoroughness, but it is not required for submittal.
Then, submit an email to the HyperTransport Consortium's
webmaster, compatibility@hypertransport.org.
The email should include your company's name, product name,
brief description of the product and with which HyperTransport
Specification it is compatible. This information will be
placed on the public website under the Compatibility Program
tab.
5 - Where should I send questions regarding the
HyperTransport Compatibility Program?
Please submit your questions to the HyperTransport
Consortium's Infrastructure Task Force, twginfrastructure@hypertransport.org.
6 - Is the Compatibility Program for silicon vendors
only?
The Compatibility Program is open to all HyperTranport
Consortium Member's products including tools and silicon.
