Membership Classes

• The HyperTransport Consortium is based on five membership classes: Promoter, Contributor, Advisor, Adopter, Academic
• Major differences between membership classes are the type of rights and free services to which the member is entitled
• Membership class overview:
  • Promoter - This class is for companies aiming at the highest ROI level from its HyperTransport technology investment. These are companies seeking unlimited insight into technical and marketing HyperTransport roadmaps, widest range of technical and marketing services offered by the Consortium, direct participation in defining future HyperTransport technology/marketing directories and the rights to participate in the Executive Team's decision-making.
  • Contributor - This class is for companies seeking advanced visibility on HyperTransport technology developments, basic range of technical and marketing services offered by the Consortium, and direct participation in the technical and marketing working groups to influence the future HyperTransport technology/marketing directions
  • Advisor - This class is for companies seeking advanced visibility on HyperTransport technology developments and a basic range of technical and marketing services, without contribution rights to HyperTransport technology's development
  • Adopter - This class is for companies seeking technology rights without insight into technical and marketing directions and without active marketing promotion benefits
  • Academic - This class is for academic institutions seeking advanced technical information on HyperTransport technology
• All membership classes, except Academic, have royalty-free license right to HyperTransport technology
• All membership classes are granted and renewable on a yearly basis
